Private Funds Associate 1-4PQE – Global Elite Law Firm
Overview
Join a highly regarded investment funds team in one of London’s leading elite global law firms. You’ll advise on a broad mix of transactional and regulatory matters, working with some of the biggest names across the asset management sector.
You’ll work on fund formation, drafting and negotiating key fund documentation, and advising on investment management and related commercial agreements. The role also offers strong exposure to relevant regulatory issues, providing an excellent opportunity to build a well-rounded practice while acting for leading UK and international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting key fund documentation including constitutional documents, limited partner agreements, investment management agreements, private placement memoranda.
- Taking a lead role advising on and documenting brokerage, clearing, and depository arrangements.
- Advising on regulatory issues as relate to fund transactions, specifically under AIFMD, MiFID II, EMIR, and SFDR / SDR.
Requirements
- Solicitor, admitted in England & Wales with approximately 1 to 4 years of post-qualification experience
- Trained and practiced with a highly regarded international law firm in London
- Experience working with both GP and LP clients on a range of private fund transactions.
